I live on the Hauraki Plains with my husband Wayne, and we have two grown up children who come and go. I knew Dale through our children and school activities of living in the same town.  Using his martial arts perspective, and knowledge that animals will always move into comfort, and away from pain, an effective method to treat impact injuries has been developed.

In 2007 I had Dale complete a treatment on my 17.3HH Hanoverian horse that had an ongoing shoulder injury.  I was impressed with how the horse responded, and how the injury resolved.   He then released one elbow of mine and left me comparing the two over the next week.  They were very different.  Deciding Dale was onto something, I booked myself in for a treatment, and I skipped out of the clinic.  I was unable to do this, because of a horse accident when I was 19, I had landed on my hip on the highway.

I completed my first Contact C.A.R.E Course in 2007 and have never looked  back.  In March 2009 I obtained the lease of a room in the Hauraki District Council building, this is where I ran my clinic for twelve and a half years.  By the end of 2010 I had become an Advanced Practitioner of the Contact C.A.R.E  Flinchlock Method.  In 2015 I was given the Bovine Division of Contact C.A.R.E to research, and alongside Lisa Gruythuysen, this continues today.  Going forward 2018 presented us with a new challenge:  we needed to share this information.  Based on three years of research, and recording of the results, we have refined the method to be used by both Farmers and Practitioners of Contact C.A.R.E, and are now offering training courses specific to the Bovine.

Currently I am working in my clinic at  home, 20 Station Road, Paeroa.
